The mission of 19 Strong is to provide financial assistance and supportive resources to families navigating the challenges of cancer treatment. We are committed to alleviating the economic hardships associated with care by facilitating access to funding and fostering a network of support. Through strategic partnerships, donor engagement, and community outreach, we strive to ensure that no family is forced to compromise treatment due to financial constraints, upholding dignity, hope, and compassion throughout their journey.
When Paul was first diagnosed with lung cancer, we created a charity, 19 Strong. 19, because that was Paul’s football number when he was a proud All-American football player at Butler University. Strong, because that was the epitome of Paul Page in everything he did in life.
In 2021, Paul was diagnosed with Stage 4 lung cancer. Over the next three years, he faced his diagnosis with incredible strength—participating in clinical trials, undergoing countless doctor appointments, and always expressing deep gratitude for the care he received. His determination, optimism, and grace inspired everyone around him.
In November 2024, Paul passed away at the age of 60. Though he is no longer with us, his legacy lives on through 19 Strong. Paul would have wanted nothing more than to see people come together to support others navigating a similar journey.
19 Strong is our way of honoring Paul’s life, his strength, and his enduring hope for others.
